How long before my wedding should I send out invitations?
Typically, wedding invitations should be sent out 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding. This gives guests enough time to plan, RSVP, and make any necessary travel or accommodation arrangements.
For destination weddings, consider sending invitations a bit earlier, around 3 to 4 months in advance, as guests may need more time to arrange travel plans.
To give guests an even earlier heads-up, it’s a good idea to send Save the Date cards about 6 to 12 months before the wedding, especially for destination weddings or if many guests will need to travel.
How many invitations do I need for a wedding?
The number of wedding invitations you need is typically not the same as your guest list count, as you’ll be sending one invitation per household or couple, not per person.
Add Extras: Order around 10–15% more invitations than your final count. This gives you a buffer for any last-minute additions, mistakes, or keepsakes.
When should I make guests RSVP by?
It's best to set the RSVP deadline 3 to 4 weeks before the wedding date. This allows you enough time to finalize the headcount for the caterer and venue, arrange seating charts and any other final details and Follow up with guests who haven’t responded.
Can I order custom wedding invitation samples?
