What is coil binding?
Also known as spiral binding, coil binding is our latest bound product. Pages are punched on one edge (the 'binding edge') and securely bound together with a strong, plastic coil.
The size of the coil and the number of holes punched varies in line with your page count and spec.
The binding edge used depends on the document orientation and paper size. For portrait coil bound documents, left long, right long and top short edge binding is available. For landscape coil bound documents, left short, right short and top long edge binding is available.
For A3 documents, only short edge binding is available.
What is coil binding used for?
Coil bound documents can lay flat and pages can be turned easily, making it an ideal choice for proposals, presentations, portfolios, reports, manuals, diaries, planners and more.

Which document sizes are available?
A6, A5, A4, A3, Half Letter, Letter, 148 mm Square, 210 mm Square
Coil binding can accommodate up to 468 pages (double sided).
Can I add tab dividers?
Yes, tab dividers can be inserted, helping to split a document into multiple sections or chapters for easier referencing. Tabs are not available for A3 documents.
