A5 booklet printing refers to the process of printing a booklet where the final size of each page is A5 (148 mm x 210 mm or 5.8 in x 8.3 in). This is a popular format for brochures, catalogues, user manuals, event programs, and small books.

Paper Size:

To create an A5 booklet, printers typically use A4 paper (210 mm x 297 mm), which is folded in half to create A5 pages. Each side of an A4 sheet produces two A5 pages.

Page Layout:

The page count for your booklet must be a multiple of 4. For example: 8 pages, 12 pages, 16 pages, 20 pages, 24 pages, 28 pages etc.

If your page count is not a multiple of 4, blank pages will be automatically added to the back of the booklet.

To prevent the blank pages from being added, increase your page count to a multiple of 4, edit your artwork and re-upload the file.

Binding:

The most common method for binding A5 booklets is saddle-stitching, where staples are placed in the fold of the booklet.

Other binding methods include perfect binding (like a paperback book) or spiral binding (like notebooks).
