Wire binding<\/h2>\n

A metal wire is used to bind the document. The wire consists of individual double looped wires.<\/p>\n

It is not a continuous metal spiral.<\/p>\n

What is wire binding used for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wire binding is used for a wide variety of professional documents, from reports, proposals & scripts, to dissertation drafts, planners, notebooks & more.<\/p>\n

Documents can lay flat and easily turn back of themselves.<\/p>\n

We offer a choice of standard wire binding (with optional 300 gsm card covers or acetate covers), as well as hardback wire binding.<\/a><\/p>\n

Hardback wire bound documents come complete with a super durable 2000 micron greyboard cover – as shown below.<\/p>\n

Spiral binding<\/h2>\n

Spiral binding is also known as coil binding.<\/p>\n

The document is bound with a continuous spiral. It can be plastic or metal.<\/p>\n

What is spiral\/coil binding used for?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spiral binding is a useful binding method, however it’s not quite as polished or professional as wire binding.<\/p>\n

If you’ve got a spiral binding machine at your office, it’s great for\u00a0less formal documents e.g. in-house meetings or notes.<\/p>\n

However within a more professional setting (pitches & presentations etc.), wire binding is the best option.<\/p>\n

Due to the superiority of wire binding, we do not offer a spiral binding service. However wire binding is a more impressive alternative.<\/p>\n
